In the spring of 2001 Carole Phillips sensed that the few former bountiful years at her job were coming to a close. The gentle nudge of the Holy Spirit was calling to come and pray with the people. In the ensuing months the call on Carole’s life became more intense. Knowing that her family needed her high income, Carole asked Jesus to confirm His word.
Each time Carole asked Jesus for confirmation on what she thought she knew Him to be saying, He would confirm it right down to the name Agape, which Jesus gave her through a praying friend on the evening of the day she asked Jesus what name would you have me use Lord?
On August 28th, 2001 Carole gave her employer a months notice. In 2 weeks 9/11 hit and the rest is history. There was no way possible for human hands to make Agape successful. Over 12% unemployed in Southern California, how could anyone find work?
Agape Employment has not had one year in Red Ink, yet! This is all because Jesus is the Owner, President, CEO, COO and CFO of Agape Employment. He brings the people, He brings the jobs, and we continue to be the bond servants, hopefully fulfilling our job descriptions Jesus spoke to Carole in March 2002;
